Working on your metabolic- and your running performance requires an accurate and precise approach. In the CENTATHON Program we work with a highly efficient structure, with a balanced set of markers to actually measure and monitor your progress. 

We use quantitative evidence to make informed decisions. Numbers don't lie, such as your MHR (your Marathon Heartrate Sweetspot), your VO2max, your strength level (based on the CENTATHON Index System), your blood glucose levels, the amount of ketones your liver is producing, your acidity pH values, the level of autophagy you're currently in (the natural self-cleansing ability of your cells), and your systolic and diastolic blood pressure. 

You will learn to monitor and document those (bio-)markers in personal data-files we will provide, including the required devices for measuring all of the above mentioned bio-markers, together with our personal advise, help, our operating routines,  procedures and structures. Marlies (52) studied architecture and interior design, and she is a certified running and fitness coach for 30 years. In 2015 she became World Champion Ironman 70.3 in the Female 40-44 category and she won numerous Ironman 70.3 races such as Aruba, Miami, Tennessee, Panama, Boulder, Cartagena, Austria, Puerto Rico. First Results In 2-3 Weeks
The CENTATHON system allows to measure and quantify the progress you are making in terms of quantitative evidence based data. This applies to both athletic- and metabolic performance. Our students show first results after just 2 or 3 weeks. Our aim is to help you develop new routines and reach a new level of metabolic and athletic balance based on the CENTATHON Index. Many of our students who work with us for a year have secured their new routines and habits for life. Currently we have students who are working with us for 3 years and more, reaching new levels of controlling and securing their metabolic health and their athletic performance on events like half- and full marathons, Ironmans, ultra's and Crossfit style events such as bootcamps, ultra obstacle races and multi-day multi disciplinary outdoor events. Even in their 50's, 60's and 70's. The main reason for working with us a longer period of time is our personal coaching, guidance, accountability, involvement and trust to help stay on the right track- our gentle way of continued reminding of the bigger-picture which is to build the foundation for a happy and healthy life, now and later on.
